Jim first put on the red suit and beard back in 2014 as a member of Knowle & Dorridge Round Table, performing the annual Christmas sleigh collection for charity. After developing a love and flair for the role, Jim has since embraced the opportunities that have arisen – from visiting local schools and performing light switch-ons through to more commercial events such as Breakfast with Santa, corporate parties, media promotions and business photoshoots. Latterly Jim has embraced Tiktok and has delighted hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world with his Nice List videos and live chats.
Over the years Jim's look has changed, from initially wearing a typical elastic beard through to now having his own completely natural snow-white hair and beard - no bleaching or dyeing required! Add a collection of luxurious suits (not costumes!) and enchanting props and he's ready to bring you
the most magical Santa experience imaginable.
Jim is also a member of the Equity actors union and available for filming on the Spotlight acting register
Jim is a member of both The Society of Professional Santas, Mrs Claus & Elves, a group of performers dedicated to putting the magic into Christmas, and The UK Sleighers Fellowship of Real Bearded Santas, an organisation that connects professional Santas with real beards to clients seeking authentic Christmas experiences for events and appearances.
Jim is fully DBS checked, ensuring he meets the necessary safety and security standards for working with children and vulnerable groups.
Jim is based in Solihull (West Midlands) but can refer you to other members across the country if he can’t cover your area.
